A ONE YEAR DANCE EDUCATION
Danseuddannelsen is an independent education designed to create professional dancers who can adapt, explore, be innovative, inspired, creative, humble, collaborative, ready to break down conventions and dare to take chances. If you want to be a professional dancer, you’ll need courage, personal style and a strong brand. That’s what Danseuddannelsen will teach you. As well as building up your awareness and physicality, it also gives you a complete picture of what it takes to become a professional dancer.

GUIDANCE IS ESSENTIAL
Sara Gaardbo gives personal mentoring in the form of analysis, guidance and help to each student for the entire duration of the course.
Becoming a dancer requires more than just dance classes. Sara’s guidance also gives the students the tools they need to build a strong mindset.
She closely follows all the classes in order to give the best advice to the students on how to develop their mental and physical dance skills.
PERFORMANCE
The work involved in creating the graduation performance at Bellevue Theatre is designed to prepare the students for a professional dance environment. As well as drawing on improvisation, the performance is deeply inspired by Hip Hop and its accompanying elements such as quality, attack, and musicality.
The graduation performance has a high professional standard. Through out many years Sara Gaardbo has built a strong collaboration with costume designer Maria Ipsen and Karina Højgaard, professional drummer and music mixer Flemming Olsen, photographer Henrik Ohsten and light designer Brian Njie.
Work are set to reflect the conditions students can expect to meet as professional dancers.

Massage Karina Højgaard
Body Therapy is an effective , deep and redemptive form of massage that combines acupressure , reflexology , meridian massage, relaxation of muscles, breathing techniques and releasing the joints.
Karina has extensive experience with body work throughout her career working professionally with dance and yoga. Exploring every single body and person as they move, bringing awareness to old moving patterns and tensions and guiding them into new ways of moving and interacting. Body Therapeutic massage is a tool and a help to any dancer who wants to work with the interaction between mind, body and performance. The way you move, feel and think are unmistakably interwoven.
